SBRT is performed while you are lying on the table. The imaging technology on the linear accelerators ensures that your position isn’t altered during the procedure throughout all the sessions which take around 30 minutes, this is to make sure that the target area doesn’t shift at any point. This procedure doesn’t require any anesthesia and you would be awake throughout the procedure.
